The Epic of the Blue Wool, Chaos Update

Today I didn't have a large amount of time to play Minecraft, but for about the 30 to 45 minutes i managed to pull out of my schedule to relax I went on an adventure to fine some sheep. Yes, sheep. Now that I am currently working on the Tzeentch themed room in my Chaos Shrine, i figured that a blue floor and ceiling would be ideal for it. The problem is blue wool can only be obtained by either crafting wool with the blue dye or applying the blue dye to a sheep before removing its wool. Since I know that there is a chance for more wool to come off a sheep than what i could get from crafting it, I decided hunting sheep would be ideal to crafting what I have, since I did not exactly have a lot of blue dye on my person. That being said, i began an epic quest to find some sheep to dye.

Now, since I am playing with the Mo' Creatures mod, i had to contend with many different baddies that I would have rather now seen. But after one successful night spent burrowed into a mountain, I thought I would have it pretty easy with my quest. However this did not turn out to be the case. While descending a cliff towards some sheep, i was ambushed by several skeleton archers who had taken refuge in a nearby cave, causing me to lose everything I was carrying. This was catastrophic, as I lost all my blue dye, a diamond sword, my compass, my clock, and some blue wool, amoung other things. Since I had simply been wandering around from place to place looking for sheep, i had only a vague idea that I had been somewhere nearly directly south of my spawn point when I was killed.

With the wind at my back, I tore off south of my base, looking frantically for anything that would be helpful to me in locating my corpse to collect my items. By shear dumb luck I happened upon my items and managed to snag them before they disappeared. However the bastard skeletons were waiting for me there and they proceeded to assail me with a hail of arrows. I tore away from them, immediately finding a place out of range and tunneling into the ground, where I constructed a tomb as the night approached. I won the day, but with only half a heart remaining. Now I must wair out the night in my make shift dug out and make for home at dawn.

........

On a 40K related note, last evening I managed to battle ready a third rhino, leaving me only to chaosify the bad boy until it is complete. I am hoping to have my army at least completely assembled by this weekend so that I can participate in my first game of 40K. All I have left is a 10 man squad of Chaos Marines and a 5 man squad of Chosen. I can forgo the Chosen for now but the 10 man squad is a necessity. Here's to hoping I manage to get them done before Friday.....
